Recognised as one of the very best gardens in New Zealand, Ohinetahi has a strong structure created from a series of “rooms” including a walled red garden, formal rose garden and large herbaceous border leading to a gazebo.
There is so much to see and learn in this garden – from contemporary artworks to a stunning chequerboard pattern of natives (corokia and coprosma varieties), shaped to give a carpet effect. This exclusive day trip includes a tour of the house and garden with Sir Miles, morning tea and a private coach.
