Floral Extravaganza – an evening of inspiring floral art and design

Expert floral designer Gislinde Folkerts with her contemporary Annette Waller have combined their talents to present the 2015 Margaret Watling Demonstration at the Canterbury Horticultural Society on Wednesday 20 May.

A passionate Cantabrian floral designer, Margaret Watling gifted a legacy of enthusiasm for flowers to the Canterbury Horticultural Society. Her ever cheerful personality, floral skills and leadership led her on a floral journey from membership at the Halswell Garden Club in 1964 to President of the Floral Art Society of New Zealand in 1976.

Along with learning some clever floral art tips the evening will feature light refreshments and fantastic prizes for both the best dressed man and best dressed woman.
