Design a Colourful Pasta Planter
Children will:
- Create unique planter designs using vibrant, dyed pasta shapes.
- Arrange and glue pasta in imaginative face patterns on their planters.
- Personalise their planter with a small succulent to make it unique.
The excitement continues as each child plants a small succulent in their pasta-adorned creation to take home.
This engaging activity encourages creativity and hands-on learning about plant care, fostering a connection with the living world.
Craft Botanical Badges & Key Rings
Children will:
- Shape and mold colourful polymer clay into personalised badges or key rings.
- Explore a variety of botanical patterns and designs.
- Experiment with pressing leaves and flowers into clay to create cool imprints.
Bake your creations onsite, so you can take them home with you.
This hands-on activity encourages creativity and teaches design skills, while connecting them with the beauty of nature. Perfect for aspiring designers and nature enthusiasts.
Stick Family Adventure Story
Children will:
- Design a unique stick whanau from favourite sticks.
- Transform the sticks into unique family characters with cool craft supplies.
But the fun doesn’t stop with crafting! Each child will name and can create an adventure story for their stick family, sparking creativity and imagination.
This interactive activity fosters storytelling skills and connects children to the beauty of nature, all while having loads of fun.
Flower Looms & Spider Webs
Children will:
- Select natural sticks and colorful strings to bring their creations to life.
- Weave intricate designs to form beautiful flower looms or mystical spider webs..
- Decorate with real flowers or make fun spider replicas to add unique details to their work. Weave them into their loom or web.
The fun extends beyond crafting as each child explores the magical combination of art, nature, and imagination. This hands-on activity teaches creativity and fine motor skills while emphasising the connection with nature and its hidden wonders.
Times & Sessions
Each session is approximately 1 hour duration. You are welcome to book back-to back morning or afternoon sessions. Children aged 8 or over are welcome to attend without a caregiver.
