A two hour workshop with concentrated practical tuition
- Identifying type of rose – hybrid T, Floribunda, climbing, miniature, bush etc
- Pruning technique
- Aftercare – removing dead leaves, mulching etc.
- Pests and diseases prevention
Michael Brown is a passionate plants man with extensive experience growing and hybridizing roses, daffodils, chrysanthemums and begonias. As a previous president of the Canterbury Rose Society he enjoyed showing and judging at a national level. Now retired, he still fills his time creating new blooms on his large property in Loburn, North Canterbury.
