Margaret Watling Memorial Demonstration
Margaret Watling, floral artist, visionary and champion of the Canterbury Horticultural Society, believed all should be able to enjoy and share in the beauty of flowers. Her financial support to the society has ensured her spirit and passion for flowers has continued to this day. She had a love of teaching and demonstrating floral art. This event honors her legacy and considerable contribution towards floral art in Canterbury.
Kate Williams
This year our Margaret Watling Memorial Demonstration is led by Kate Williams, author of The After Hours Stylist and a beloved local flower farmer. With a deep love of nature and a passion for celebrating each season’s offerings, Kate’s creativity and styling have made her floral workshops and garden tours at her rural Waitaha property highly sought-after events.
