Tutor: David Milne
David is a qualified horticulturalist from Scotland where he worked for several private estates covering all aspects of design, planting and maintenance of soft and hard landscapes. He worked for 7 years in the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh (RBG) initially in the Rock Garden, the in the Nursery team. For six years he was Propagation Manager for a mail-order nursery specialising in alpine and herbaceous plants and bulbs. He began lecturing in horticulture at the RGB and after working in the horticulture industry in Christchurch for a few years he became a full time tutor with Agribusiness Training delivering NZQA courses.
Dave delivered Fundamentals of Horticulture and another horticultural course at the CHS in 2016 & 2017. We are very happy to have secured his tutorship again.
